Is my World backed up?

We back up your world nightly via Amazon's S3, in case something goes wrong. We store the backup for three days, so if you anything goes wrong, don't worry, we can perform a rollback for you! And as we store the backups off-site, your data is always safe.

Is my World confidential?

Yes, we offer you the option to close of your world entirely from outside traffic. Only you will be able create new accounts and teleporting to and from your World will not be possible. For privacy sensitive projects, this is essential. We understand the privacy requirements you may have.

Can I build big scenes?

Yes! We have tested worlds with up to millions of polygons while maintaining a good framerate. You can also use draw distance to make objects disappear at a distance, and Levels of Detail to optimize performance. When building, please be aware that visitors will need to download all the 3d content so not everything will be immediately visible to them.

Will my World be stable?

We do everything within reason to ensure the maximum amount of uptime possible. Our servers are located at world-class datacenters both in Europe and the United States, with guaranteed SLAs. In the event of a crash our automated system will bring your World back up within 20 seconds. How to manage your World to maximize stability is detailed in the World owner's manual.

Can I explore other Worlds and attract visitors to mine?

Yes! If you do not need your World to be confidential, we offer the ability to let people from other Worlds teleport to yours (of course you can also teleport to theirs!) and we host an online signup form where possible guests can register an account to log into your World.

What is SketchWorld's development stage now?

We are currently in Beta. Beta means that it is "not finished" yet, but it mostly works. So while it is not yet as good as it will be in the future, as it will continue to grow and expand. It's suitable for usage.

Are there any setup fees or hidden fees?

Not at all. We only charge a low monthly fee for our World, without any extra fees that nobody needs. The prices you see are what you pay. Your monthly payments also include updates and improvements to SketchWorlds.

Are there lower prices for educational institutions and non-profits?

Everyone is entitled to the best prices we can possibly offer. Everyone, including educational institutions and non-profits, is already getting the lowest possible prices! Our prices already are generally lower than what competitors charge educational institutions and non-profits./p>
